Many people who work with me have achieved some “success” in their lives, but nonetheless find themselves feeling unfulfilled, frustrated, or with unsatisfying personal lives or relationships. People often come to me because they find themselves repeatedly experiencing some sense of pressure, distress, anxiety, negativity, or emptiness, at times despite appearing OK to others.
I try to tailor my approach to you and your situation, and to your responses and feedback to me. I aim to take a thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative approach, staying curious about and engaged with your own experiences, goals, and preferences throughout our work together.
People who work with me often find that their quality of life and relationships improves as our work progresses, and as they discover and bring themselves into the work.
This might be evident in your feeling more in touch with an authentic sense of self, a sense of emotional containment, and of confidence or an openness to the world and what it has to offer. It may also be evident in your growing ability to think clearly in difficult or emotional situations.
Finding the “right medication fit” for you might also be an appropriate part of this process, for some people.
